Nestled in the peaceful village of Gillamoor, amongst the beautiful North Yorkshire Moors, The Royal Oak Inn has been part of the village community since the mid-seventeenth century. This traditional Grade II listed building is the ideal place to relax after a long walk through the countryside, with open log fires and oak beamed ceilings, you can enjoy the comfortable and friendly atmosphere; along with the best cask ales and excellent cuisine, which is all cooked fresh to order.

Whether you're in need of a weekend getaway, a holiday, or just an overnight stay, the Royal Oak Inn, can accommodate you. Our 8 bedrooms are both comfortable and elegant, and are all well-equipped with en-suite bathrooms and all the luxuries of a home away from home.

At the Royal Oak Inn we offer an exquisite, home-cooked, a la carte menu, with options for vegetarians, as well as a children’s menu and daily specials. All our meals are prepared to order on the premises from fresh, local ingredients. Meals are served at lunchtimes and evenings, 7 days a week, and on Sunday’s a traditional Sunday Lunch is served. Food serving times are 12-2pm and 6-8.30pm.
