Offering beautiful plants, Japanese tools and a seriously impressive range of gardenalia seamlessly sat alongside eclectic home interiors, food halls, glasshouse café, boutique clothing store, art gallery and gorgeous children’s emporium, it is impossible not to fall in love with everything here. The displays are always stunning, inspirational, beautiful, fun and occasionally cheeky.
Where else could you find a genuine Cold War era yellow submarine being sold amongst the seeds, a replica frigate up for grabs in the children’s store, and hand-crafted Provencal pots displayed alongside a restored stagecoach under giant ‘Big Hat’ tipis?
What’s more, Burford’s award-winning, contemporary glasshouse café (supported by a seven-strong team of chefs, including a full time baker) is the place to come for delicious, fresh cooking, hand-roasted coffees and everything is made from scratch, 7 days a week, using ingredients grown onsite or locally sourced, including Burford’s own flock of lambs reared in their adjacent fields.
