The charity Guide Dogs provides mobility and freedom to people living with sight loss, and the National Breeding Centre is where it all starts.
The state-of-the-art Centre allows guide Dogs to breed up to 1500 life-changing puppies a year, and our Visitors' Centre allows people to see and learn what goes on here.
We run FREE scheduled tours on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons from 2 - 4pm, and Wednesday mornings 10:30-12:30 during school holidays. As well as touring the Centre and viewing some of our puppies, you will learn about the breeding programme and meet some of our dogs, and experience the feeling of sight loss in our special sensory tunnel. Refreshments are served at the end of the tour, and we have a gift shop.
Pre-booking is required, and we can cater for group sizes of 1 to 50, including coach company bookings.
