Meet over 90 rescued horses, ponies and donkeys nose-to-nose at Redwings Oxhill, including irresistibly fluffy, part-breed Poitou donkey Arya and the charity’s tallest resident, Shire cross Major. The visitor centre, which is 10 miles south of Stratford upon Avon, is part of the UK's largest horse sanctuary, Redwings Horse Sanctuary, which provides a safe and happy home to over 1,500 rescued horses and donkeys nationwide.

Redwings Oxhill is a Visit England Quality Assured Visitor Attraction where animals lovers can get up close and cuddly to its adorable residents and hear their stories - and, best of all, it's completely FREE!

After making plenty of new four-legged friends, visitors can put their feet up in the Nosebag Café with a hot drink and a slice of cake, while there’s a play area for young children to explore. There’s also an on-site gift shop offering a wide range of souvenirs, with all proceeds supporting the hundreds of equines in Redwings Horse Sanctuary’s care nationwide.

The centre is open all-year round every Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday, 10am to 4pm (closed Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays). Entry and parking are free, and dogs on leads are welcome.
