Gill and Terry would like to welcome you to our family run Guest House located in the suburbs of Edinburgh yet still close enough to the visitor attractions that the Scottish capital has to offer.

Situated in the West of Edinburgh on Queensferry Road, one of the main bus routes into the city, Acer Lodge is away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre whilst still offering excellent access to its main sites and attractions; within just a 15 minute drive or bus ride you can be on Princes Street in the very heart of Edinburgh. We have ample free on-site parking with easy access to the Airport and the M8/M9 motorways for onward travel to the West of Scotland and the Highlands.

Acer Lodge is a traditional Scottish dormer bungalow and has an official 4* rating from the Scottish Tourist Board. We always endeavour to offer our guests the warmest of welcomes to our home and are more than happy to assist with any questions or sightseeing plans during their stay. There is a wide variety of visitor information in the entrance hall and day trips to the Countryside and the Highlands can be arranged with collection and drop off from the front of the house.

Accommodation at Acer Lodge is homely; there are 5 guest rooms including single, double/twin and family rooms. All the rooms are fully central heated, tastefully decorated and furnished and offer the services expected by the modern traveller including flat screen ‘freeview’ colour television, tea/coffee making facilities and alarm clock/radios. A number of extra touches include hairdryer, refrigerator, trouser press and free Wi-Fi internet access throughout. All the rooms have en-suite bathroom facilities with complimentary toiletries and there are ground floor rooms for those requiring easy access.

Breakfast each morning is served in the bright and airy dining room, where an extensive menu including full Scottish and Continental style is on offer. Special dietary requirements can be catered for if advised in advance.
