Bevan House is set in delightful Welsh countryside, within easy walking distance of the peaceful village of Hundred House. It is five miles from the Royal Welsh showground and eleven miles from the famous book town of Hay-on-Wye.
The lovely Victorian spa town of Llandrindod Wells is just seven miles away. And the memorable Elan Valley dams and reservoirs just a little further.
Bevan House is a three bedroomed cottage which is comfortable and well equipped for up to seven people. Outside, guests can relax in the private and secluded garden with our new decked area and hot tub. We now have Wi Fi installed for our guests use.
There is room for children to play, and also a barbecue area. Guests have a lockable garage and parking for additional cars.
Red Kite feeding Station
The Red Kite Feeing Station is near Rhayader. Visitors enter spacious 'hides' and are rewarded with a close-up view of hundreds of red kites, swooping down to feed. A truly memorable experience!
Activity Centre
Climbing, Ropes Course, Caving, Gorge Walking, Clay Shooting, Archery. These are some of the activities offered by the Black Mountain Activities Centre. Situated near Hay-on-Wye, it is open to individuals and small groups.
Craft Centre
Erwood Craft Centre and Gallery is in the Old GWR Railway Station by the River Wye. It is about seven miles away and features a new exhibition every six weeks.
Golf courses
There are two golf courses within easy reach of Bevan House: Llandrindod Wells Golf Club and Rhosgoch Golf Club. Both courses enjoy splendid views of the surrounding countryside.

The views from the windows are of rolling fields and Welsh hills. The modern amenities include a fully fitted kitchen, two independent satellite television feeds and very comfortable seating. The log burner means homely warmth in the lounge whatever the season, and is a supplement to the oil fired central heating.
There are plenty of friendly country pubs within a few miles of Bevan House offering old fashioned service and a welcoming atmosphere. The Hundred House Inn is within easy walking distance and serves excellent food.
Walking, cycling, exploring fascinating towns, enjoying nature at its unspoilt best, or simply relaxing - there is something for everyone!
The Hot Tub Outside there is a decked area with a hot tub with jets and lights and can seat 6 guests. The perfect place to relax after a day walking or sightseeing around the Elan Valley Dams.

The Exterior Bevan House is a detached house in the rural heart of Mid Wales. It is easily accessible as it is located on the A481 just outside the village of Hundred House. The house is well furnished and has all the modern facilities to make your holiday comfortable and stress-free.

The Second Bedroom The second bedroom is at the back of the house and has a comfy double bed. It overlooks the fields of nearby Bryncoch Farm.

The Living Room The Living Room has a comfortable suite and a flat screen television. There is a log burner so that the room is really cosy in Winter. A perfect place to stretch out and relax! The window overlooks the front garden making the room light and airy throughout the year.
A new decking area outside complete with Fossil Water Fountain is ideal for alfresco dining.
The Kitchen There is a kitchen and utility room. The kitchen is well equipped with an electric hob and oven, dishwasher, fridge, microwave, freezer and washer/drier. There is plenty of storage space and drying facilities in the utility room.
