EXPERIENCE ANCIENT CULTURE WITH OUR BLUE MOUNTAINS ABORIGINAL DAY TOUR

Duration: Approx 10 hours

Immerse yourself in the cultural history of Australia and discover the magic of the ancient Earth and the people who thrived upon it, by experiencing our Blue Mountains Aboriginal Day Tour. Your journey into the local folklore, and history of this unique culture will bring you closer to the people and places that made Australia into what it is today.

The Blue Mountains Aboriginal Day Tour begins early so there’s plenty of time to experience all the destinations and highlights of this trip . We wouldn’t want you to miss out on a single activity of this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity so we ask all Clients to please be ready on time for collection from their hotel in Sydney.

Our new state of the art Mercedes-Benz buses will transport you in comfort and luxury to the start of one of the many highlights of the tour, Featherdale Wildlife Park, home to many of Australia’s well-known and beloved indigenous species, including koalas, dingoes, kangaroos, wallabies and an abundance of vibrantly coloured birds.

From there, we travel to the picturesque town of Katoomba to meet our very own Aboriginal guide who will introduce you to the most majestic and breathtaking places in the Blue Mountains National Park.

Not to be missed is the educational bush walk, where Aboriginal park rangers will enlighten you by sharing firsthand information about their culture, heritage, local mythology, traditional medicines and native bush foods, a culinary treat to some!
Be awed by the many showcasing views offered along this tour including River Rock, Allambie Lookout, Lady Darley Lookout, Kedumba View and Echo Point – all of which provide excellent photo opportunities of the stunning natural beauty that make up the Blue Mountains and its surrounds.

Experience an injection of culture as our journey culminates at the Waradah Aboriginal Culture House where you will be treated to a live performance from the famous Waradah Dance Troupe accompanied by the haunting tunes of the Didgeridoo as well as bearing witness to an ancient and spiritual Smoking Ceremony.

As we near the final leg of your the Blue Mountains Aboriginal Day Tour, our return trip includes a drive to Sydney Olympic Park, host to many national and international events, sports competitions and concerts.

A ferry ride along the Parramatta River leads us to Glenville Bridge and the Sydney Harbour where you get to enjoy the excellent view of the world famous Sydney Opera House before heading to Circular Quay. The tour ends back in Sydney, usually around 5 pm.
