FootGolf

FootGolf is an easy to play activity for all the family. Fast becoming one of the most popular sports in Ireland, it is great played as a pair or for having a competition in the family, or as part of a party, company outing or celebration. It is a precision sport, in which players kick a soccer ball into a cup in as few shots as possible. The player who finishes with the lowest score wins.

Poc Fada

Follow in the footsteps of Cuchulainn, Ireland’s legendary hurling hero, on our Poc Fada course. Cuchulainn played Poc Fada by hitting his sliothar with the hurl from point to point on the road to the ancient Hill Fort of Tara. You too can try to beat the course by getting round in fewer shots. Similar to golf played with a sliothar and hurl, Poc Fada makes this ancient game available for everyone.
Available Monday to Sunday sunrise to 1 hour before sunset.
Hurls and Sliothars can be hired from the Golf Shop.

Clubhouse

In the cosy top bar or the larger Panorama Bar with stunning views, there are also plenty of outside seating options to enjoy the Rhododendrons leading up to Muck Rock.

Stunning at any time of the year and absolutely spectacular from February to June, the Rhododendron Walk is a circular route that meanders through woodland planted with over 200 species of Rhododendron. The origin of these gardens date back to around 1850 when the idea of a Rhododendron Garden was born. Today, the garden boasts a total of 1,500 named plants including species, crosses and hybrids plus a large number of un-named plants that now have flourished on the rocky slopes. Beneath the Rhododendrons also lies one of the seven portal dolmens of the Dublin area, used to honour dead chieftains or king
