Award winning Farm Shop - Tea Room - Deli - Butchery

The origins of Hackwood Farm go back more than 200 years and we are dedicated to protecting and nurturing its family run working farm heritage. This is demonstrated by our ever growing variety of livestock including sheep, chickens, ducks and our much loved Pietrain Gloucester Old Spot pigs. In addition, our farm also has the benefit of 10 stables with livery and a traditional orchard containing a well established range of old variety apple, pear and damson trees which are harvested to produce homemade jams, chutneys, pies and crumbles. Inside our converted barn you will find a tea room, butchery, delicatessen and farm shop. Our passion to serve local and delicious produce of the highest quality which also helps to celebrate everything that is wonderful about rural Derbyshire - from its mouth-watering food to its beautiful countryside and unique history.

In our tea room you will find freshly prepared daily specials including our famous Farmhouse Breakfast, a variety of light lunches and delicious afternoon teas. Our butchers offer a wonderful range of locally sourced meats. A wide range of 28 day matured steaks, lovingly prepared joints, handmade sausages and burgers and BBQ marinated meats are all on offer each day.

Our deli stocks a variety of cheeses, anti-pasties, cured and oven roasted meats, pies, sausage rolls and much more! We also offer a range of ready meals including meat, fish and vegetable dishes. The Farm Shop is stocked with everyday items such as bread, free range eggs and seasonal vegetables.

We look forward to welcoming you to our relaxing rustic farm, with our roaring log burners ready for winter, and outdoor seating for summer. Hackwood Farm is perfect all year round!
