Higher Rew is a family run park in an area of outstanding natural beauty. We have over many years created a relaxed caravan and camping park in a natural environment for your enjoyment.
The park is approximately 1 mile from South Sands Beach which is ideal for boating, sailing, canoe/kayaking, SUP and windsurfing, as well as safe bathing. A ferry runs from South Sands to Salcombe town throughout the day from Easter to the end of October. Soar Mill Cove is only one mile away and several other sandy beaches are within 20 minutes drive from the park. The South West Coastal Path and other beautiful walks can be reached from the public footpath that borders the Park.
We are assessed annually by Visit England and awarded 4 stars, by the AA and awarded 3 pennants.
The Park is approximately five acres of gently sloping grass that has been terraced to create 90 level pitches, 74 of which have electric hook-up.
We provide clean, quality facilities which include: showers, toilets, washbasins, indoor dish-washing facilities, laundry room (commercial washing machine and tumble dryer, deep sinks, irons and ironing boards), hair dryer + electric sockets and shaver points and ice pack freezing facility.
Higher Rew recreation facilities include: Playbarn with a pool table, table tennis table and skittle alley pius free wifi, a covered play area for children under 11 years, adjacent fields for children to play and dog walking and a tennis court which is available to hire. The Park Shop/Reception stocks many camping essentials as well as camping and calor gas.
