Old Keepers Cottage Bed & Breakfast offers beautiful accommodation for up to 6 people in a stunning, rural North Devon location.
Situated 2 miles from the historic fishing town of Bideford and down a single track country lane we are surrounded by 35 acres of fields and woodland and have amazing views of the River Torridge.
From the moment you step into our large farmhouse kitchen our aim is to help you unwind - we want you to feel totally at home and able to relax in a tranquil setting.
Facilities include use of our guest's sitting room with comfy sofas & a wood burning stove, books, games, TV/DVD; a large sun terrace where you can watch estuary birds while the tidal river ebbs and flows; a music room with Steinway piano; and outdoor walks down to the river through our woods.
The bedrooms are all individually furnished and have a TV, complimentary tea/coffee making, water, biscuits & chocolates.
The Blue room is spacious and airy with either a Super king or Twin beds with ensuite bathroom and river views.
The Four poster double is charming room also with river views adjoining the Blue Room and can be booked with it to make a family suite.
The Garden Room is a pretty double overlooking the garden & has separate private bathroom with whirlpool bath on the ground floor.
The Old Nursery is a small, cosy twin bedroom overlooking the courtyard & fields - the private bathroom is also on the ground floor.
We offer an extensive choice of delicious breakfast dishes using locally sourced ingredients and a complimentary Devon Cream Tea on arrival.
Close to many local attractions such as the South West Coastal Path, beautiful sandy beaches, RHS Rosemoor, Tarka Cyle Trail, Royal North Devon Golf Club and family theme parks such as the Milky Way & The Big Sheep.
