Open all year, with three acres of mature, landscaped grounds offering pitches for tents, caravans, motorhomes and RV’s.The site awards you with panoramic views over Salcombe, and the rolling countryside towards Dartmoor. The site is perfectly situated for exploring all the that stunning South Hams area of South Devon has to offer. Explore the market town of Kingsbridge and the historic towns of Dartmouth and Totnes. Ramble along the picturesque South West Coast Path. Relax on fabulous local beaches; Bantham, Thurlestone, Hope Cove and Salcombe. Enjoy an array of activities and water sports. Indulge with local produce, quality village pubs and fine dining eateries.
Parkland has various pitch types over three acres of level, well maintained landscaped grounds, with excellent drainage. The site is surrounded by natural Devon hedgerows, abundant with wildlife, with views towards Salcombe, and the rolling countryside towards Dartmoor. Enjoy the hedgerow flowers of primrose and stitchwort, and our seasonal flower beds, and of course stunning butterflies amongst the buddleia…This year with have been visited by a family of hedgehogs, a local pheasant seems to have made this his home, and if you’re lucky watch out for the barn owl…

At Parkland you will experience high quality amenities and of course five star customer care. Parkland has been a family ‘campsite’ since 1971, and been run by the resident owner for over 30 years. Camping sites are the family heritage, with great grandparents starting the first ‘camping’ site in the South Hams area. We pride ourselves on our family heritage in order to provide you with a traditional, but modern ‘camping or touring’ holiday at Parkland.
The site is ideally situated for exploring all that this stunning area of outstanding natural beauty has to offer…ramble the South West Coast Parh, relax on glorious sandy beaches and secluded coves, visit historic towns or quaint villages and of course many tourist attractions and activities. If you’re stuck for something to do, or don't know where to go, just ask, our local knowledge is endless…You will find our nearest bus stop just 400 yards from the site, from here you catch a direct bus to Totnes for connecting services to the English Riveria and Exeter, or just pop down into Kingsbridge for services to Salcombe, Dartmouth and Plymouth.
