Westward Living Holiday Cottages are perfectly situated for guests to enjoy all the delights that North Devon has to offer. Comprising of fourteen luxury converted stables & cottages, Westward Living is nestled within 60 acres of grounds at Duckhaven Stud, a former working thoroughbred stud farm in Westward Ho! North Devon.

Each luxurious countryside cottage is fully equipped to the highest standard, making it a true home from home for your North Devon holiday. From the delicious cream tea in your cottage on arrival, to the friendly hosts on hand, Westward Living will offer a perfect relaxing escape for families, walkers, couples and anyone wanting a taste of idyllic Devon life.

Set in the unesco biosphere and within one of the few remaining Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the cottages offer direct access to the South West Coastal Path. On a clear day you will enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of Clovelly, Lundy Island, Westward Ho!, Saunton Sands, Exmoor and the Torridge Estuary. If you are lucky you will catch a glimpse of foxes, badgers, and roe deer.

We are in a great location for exploring the North Devon Coastline and have two great family restaurants within walking distance of the cottage. The village of Westward Ho! is situated a mile away, where you will find abundance of shops, restaurants and the golden sand of the famous Westward Ho! beach which has recently been awarded the famous blue flag for the 11th year running.

All of our luxury self catering holiday cottages have achieved the prestigious Visit England star ratings; 4 star, 4 star gold and 5 star and 5 star gold for Royal Celerity & The Paddocks. We have cottages to suit everyone, including Smiley Cottage and The Farriers, which have been built to provide luxury accommodation with disabled access and wet rooms. We also offer 3 dog friendly properties within our collection.
As well as access to the 60-acre grounds and South West Coast Path, our facilities include indoor and outdoor children's play area, heated indoor pool (open April to September), herb garden and award winning wedding and events venue Ocean Kave.
