Our award-winning luxury holiday cottages overlook lush green fields and open sea at Westward Ho!. Hosts Kathy and Chris are dedicated to showing everyone what's so special about North Devon. It's this passion that helped them to create Westward Living's beautiful, bespoke holiday cottages.
Every self-catering cottage at Duckhaven Stud is situated on 60 acres of private headland, surrounded by the rolling North Devon countryside and Atlantic, transporting guests to a tranquil haven on the North Devon coast. With the South West Coast Path just a five-minute walk away and Westward Ho!'s two-mile golden sandy beach on your doorstep, there's no better base for your adventure.
Our stunning cottages have been designed with relaxation in mind. Each property at Duckhaven Stud has Wi-Fi, a private garden or courtyard and a beautifully styled interior, so you can enjoy the views inside and out. Enjoy a complimentary Devonshire cream tea on arrival and look forward to planning the exciting days ahead. Families will love exploring the play barn, with table tennis, badminton, a pool table and a heated pool, while couples can unwind with a glass of chilled wine in their Jacuzzi whirlpool bath or sunset hot tub.
We also offer DIY livery for horses and welcome assistance dogs. For more information about finding your dream seaside holiday in North Devon, contact us for more information.
Each property is inspected annually by VisitEngland and all properties are rated from four-star to five-star gold ratings. Our flexible changeover days of Friday and Monday are perfect for both long and short breaks, throughout the year, and we offer any day entry for romantic short breaks with a minimum 2 night stay.
If you are restricted by a busy schedule, let us know and we'll be happy to help. If you're looking for something extra on your luxury break, we offer guests a private dining experience. Our executive chef and his team love nothing more than showing off their culinary expertise by cooking a bespoke menu for you in the comfort of your home from home.
When it comes to luxury and comfort, the team at Westward Living have tonnes of experience. For a blend of rural idyll and coastal charm, there's no finer place to enjoy a holiday in North Devon. With cottages sleeping from two to eight guests, we can accommodate up to 60 at Duckhaven Stud
