We are a friendly and professional Cotswold Riding School offering expert tuition and scenic rides around the picturesque villages of Lower and Upper Slaughter. We are immensely proud of our kind, good natured horses and offer riding for everyone – from complete beginner to the more advanced.
Tuition is available from qualified approved instructors with facilities including an outdoor arena, grass field, set of show jumps and beautiful hacking.
Being a registered Pony Club Centre, there are plenty of activities available for horse mad children! During the holidays we have “own a pony” days, pony camps and rallies.
Tourist Hacks
These are 45 minute or hour long circular rides around the Cotswold villages of Lower and sometimes Upper Slaughter – suitable for all levels of rider from absolute beginners. The best way to see the beautiful Slaughter villages is from the back of one of our experienced and good-natured horses! These rides are in walk and trot only and we aim to have a refreshing splash in the River Eye en route.

Our river rides are particularly popular with children or nervous adults who just fancy “having a go”. These take approximately 30 minutes and go to the river in Lower Slaughter, where we have a paddle, a snap and back !
