Taurus Crafts is an exciting place to see a vibrant range of arts and crafts. From the fun of our holiday activities to a chance to wander and dwell in our 17th century buildings, our gardens and our courtyards, there is something for all ages. Throughout the year, there are opportunities to discover your own creativity, join a workshop and have a go at something, including making and decorating your own pots.

We Love Crafts
Taurus Crafts hosts around 16 designer makers and artisan businesses. You will see people at work in their units and have the opportunity to see, learn about and perhaps buy something distinctive direct from the maker.
Our Gift Shop supports a number of local craft workers and artists. Some are starting out and some are more established. We also choose a range of fair-trade items to support opportunity in developing countries.

We Love Art
The work of local artists is available in our Gift Shop and the Picture Framing Studio. There is always an exhibition from local and upcoming artists on the walls in our cafe and sculpture in our gardens.

We Love Food
Choose from our menu of light bites and lunches showcasing local produce and made fresh in our kitchen. The recipes for our cakes and bread are much requested but not revealed! There are plenty of opportunities to buy local food, from basics to treats, in the farm shop & deli run by local farmers, Cowshill, and The Chocolate Bar our on-site chocolatiers. We Love Local
From local food, through to bespoke items made by one of our crafts people and the many locally made gifts or cards on sale in our gift shop, Taurus Crafts offers you ‘a lot of local’. 60 or so small local businesses sell through us. We host regular events, craft and vintage markets and the area’

Whether you reach us by driving along the tidal meanders of the River Severn or through the ancient Forest of Dean, you find us on the A48 between Aylburton and Lydney.
