The Speech House Hotel was originally built as a hunting lodge for Charles II, set in the very heart of the royal Forest of Dean.
The hotel is home to the Verderers Court, one of only two such courts in the UK.
The hotel has 35 ensuite bedrooms with every modern comfort.
The Orangery is a great venue for walkers and casual diners and is pet friendly. The Bar boasts the famous "Legless Cow " ale brewed just a few miles away.
For more formal dining the Verderers will fit the bill. Head Chef, Paul Yeomans uses only the finest locally sourced produce to create a range of delicious dishes. http//www.verderers.co.uk
All dietary requirements are catered for and hot food is served in the Orangery from 12 noon until 9pm, whilst the Verderers is from 6.30 until last orders at 9pm.
The Speech House is renown for its sumptuous afternoon teas served in the Orangery with a glass of bubbles.
