400 Rabbits is one of Nottingham’s hidden gems. Situated on Hurts Yard, one of Nottingham’s last remaining ancient thoroughfares connecting Long Row and Parliament Street, it is Nottingham’s first dedicated Mezcaleria and Tequila bar serving up a range of over 100 of Mexico’s finest Tequilas and Mezcals and an awesome range of cocktails, beers and wines.
The story of the 400 Rabbits stems from ancient Mexico where lived the ancient Aztecs who worshiped a whole pantheon of mythical Gods. Among these Gods was Mayahuel, the fiery Aztec Goddess of alcohol. Led by Ometotchtli, King of the bunnies, the 400 Rabbits were responsible for guarding the precious alcohol of Mayahuel. Instead, they all got drunk and partied!
400 Rabbits is a slice of Mexico in the heart of Nottingham and the perfect place to unwind on a summer evening! Open til 2AM every night and with Happy Hour 5 til 8 every day, when all cocktails are just £5, it’s perfect for a chilled out drink or to party the night away!
