These Shepherd Huts are set in the rolling Oxfordshire countryside - perfect for the independent traveller who wants to get away from it all. Superb walking, birdwatching horse riding (stables available), swimming in the river, cycling or just star watching and sitting by the camp fire.

Lots of local attractions including National Trust properties Canons Ashby and Upton House. .

These shepherd huts HAVEN'T got a colour TV, hairdryer, telephone or DVD player, but what they HAVE got is something that cannot be quantified.

When you wake up in the morning, having had the most beautiful sleep on the ultra comfortable bed, all you can see is a rolling meadow running down to the River Cherwell. You can listen to the buzzards calling while they soar above, having heard nothing but owls hooting during the night. Just you and nature - nothing else.

Walk along the river to the local pub for that glass of wine. Enjoy a nightcap by the camp fire before retiring to the divinely comfortable bed....

No neighbours, no noise, just complete peace and tranquility - a chance to recharge your batteries and have that little bit of adventure that the soul craves for.....

These shepherd huts are unique in that they are all completely private and you are the ONLY guests - no shared kitchens or bathrooms here - just complete privacy.

FABULOUS walks include the Millenium Way, The Jurassic Way, the Battlefields walk and The Macmillan Way.

Really cosy in the winter with fire pit, log burner or electric heaters and VERY warm duvets.

There is a private bathroom for each hut which is about 20 yards away. It has a high powered gas fired shower and an eco loo, with full running hot and cold water. Camp fire and plenty of wood is available.

There is a barbeque or a George Foreman grill in the hut, or order a Chinese take away which can be delivered to the yard. A mobile shop comes into the yard on Saturday mornings which sells delicious fresh meat and vegetables

Well behaved dogs are welcome with a small extra charge
