Situated North-East of Birmingham City Centre, the Aston Tavern was restored and extended in 2013 after sitting empty for over 20 years. Surrounded by its quaint and longstanding Edwardian features the tavern boasts a contemporary and stylish wrap around extension that seats up to 300 guests. A tavern has stood here since Tudor times with reports that it was a much-beloved venue for the locals during the late Victorian era. The pub as it stands today was built in 1904, just before Birmingham’s industrial growth enveloped the town of Aston.


Filled with period features, the Aston Tavern is a beautiful setting for a bite to eat with friends or family. From a fantastic full English breakfast to a light lunch or even a stunning afternoon tea complete with dainty finger sandwiches, fresh fruit, scones with jam and clotted cream and a selection of mini patisserie.

The venue boasts a contemporary wrap around extension that regularly hosts high profile corporate events, big bustling weddings, cheerful baby showers and intimate family get togethers. From a small simple occasion to a big blowout, we are flexible to your requriements.
