The Castle is located in the heart of the Chianti Classico Region, in the middle of woods, vineyards and olive groves. In our estate guests have the chance to relax by the pool , enjoy a glass of our Chianti Classico in front of a stunning scenary, hike to another Castle or enjoy cooking classes and wine tasting with our staff.
Rooms in the Castle:
All our rooms and suites are located between the Castle and Tower , they preserve a taste of ancient and elegant together with a touch of modern comfort: Tv , air conditioning, safe , minibar and hairdryer.
Apartements : for 2 to 5 people
Country-style family apartments, located in the ancient hamlet, 50 mts from the main building. The apartments have their own entrance, living room,kitchenette, one or two double bedrooms and bathroom with shower or bath tub.
They are equipped with central heating and flat TV-screen.
Restaurant
Our cuisine is mainly based on traditional dishes from the Chianti region. Our menu is flexible to the requirements and suggestions of our guests.
We use fresh and locally-sourced ingredients in all of the dishes we prepare. We use the Castle’s very own IGP Tuscan extra virgin olive oil, local cold meats and cheeses, and game from our hunting grounds, such as pheasant and wild boar.
The seasonal vegetables we grow in our gardens also allow us to fully satisfy and respect the dietary needs of our guests.

LEARN THE SECRETS OF ITALIAN KITCHEN WITH OUR CHEF “MAMMA ANNA”
Our cook Anna Bacco is not a chef, but a traditional Italian “mamma” ready to disclose her secret recipes to our guests.
Our cooking sessions take place in a relaxed and informal atmosphere, where learning how to prepare a typical Italian menu becomes a cultural and emotional experience.
“Mamma Anna” will propose traditional Tuscan dishes, from homemade pasta to local meat and her memorable Tiramisu.
After the lesson, guests will taste the dishes prepared, accompanied by our excellent Chianti Classico Castello di Tornano.
