The Barn is spacious self catering accommodation in an impressive and artistic conversion of one of the oldest cottages in the village.

On opening the door to the Barn you are presented with a spacious lounge in which to relax with all the comforts of home.
The kitchen comes with a fully equipped.
Off the internal hallway is a spacious double bedroom with a King Sized bed and views across the countryside.
A separate bathroom (with over bath shower) also leads off the internal hallway.
The balcony is furnished with a table and two chairs and is a perfect suntrap for you to relax and enjoy a glass of wine or a refreshing cup of tea.

The village has 3 pubs all serving good quality home cooked food. There is a newsagents / general store, a bakery selling homemade meals, cakes etc.
There is an hourly bus service to Bakewell.
Chatsworth house is 8 minutes drive away. Haddon Hall is 5 minutes drive away.

The beautiful River Lathkill and River Bradford are 5 minutes walk away. Lathkill Dale is a site of special interest. The water is crystal clear.
