Leighton Moss Bird Sanctuary is only 3 miles away.

Within half an hour's drive you have the well known beauty spots of The Lakes to the north, The Yorkshire Dales to the east or The Forest of Bowland to the south. The historic towns of Kendal and Kirkby Lonsdale are a short drive away, as is the seaside town of Morecambe with it's unusual nursery rhyme pavements and Eric Morecambe statue. Lancaster with it's castle is just 15 minutes away via J35 M6 to J34 M6. Warton itself, where it is reputed a branch of ancestors of George Washington lived, has two Inns both serving food. Two miles away in Carnforth there are supermarkets, cafes etc. and a large book shop well worth a browse.

Culdene is the spacious self-contained ground floor of our detached cottage. We live in the upper part so always on hand for any help you may need. Both are completely separate and the two doors on the photo both belong to Culdene.
There is a large airy living room colour TV with Free View, cosy seating and dining alcove. The fitted kitchen has electric cooker, microwave, washer, dryer, fridge freezer with a good selection of crockery and utensils. The new bathroom has separate shower and the fitted bedroom can have either a 6ft wide super king bed or two 3ft singles. Please specify when booking. Dogs are welcome so long as they have up to date flea treatment. Culdene is non smoking..

Bedding, towels, central heating and electricity are included in the rate of £45 a night (minimum 2 nights) and £300 a week and this rate doesn't change even for high season.
