Tewitfield Marina is a purpose built hamlet with its own holiday accommodation complex. Located outside Carnforth on the Lancashire and Cumbria border alongside Tewitfield Locks on the Lancaster Canal. Tewitfield Marina provides guests with the perfect place to stay with a variety of fully equipped one, two and three bedroom marina self-catering apartments for holiday rental. Selected apartments are dog-friendly. With easy access to some of Britain’s best-loved countryside, the historic city of Lancaster and lakeland villages Kirkby Lonsdale and Carnforth. UNESCO World Heritage Site, The Lake District National Park and the Yorkshire Dales are less than half an hours drive away. Tewitfield Marina is the perfect location for self-catering holidays.

During your stay at Tewitfield Marina self catering apartments, why not explore the historic city of Lancaster with its castles, museums and parks or nearby seaside town of Morecambe, famous for its breathtaking sunsets across the bay and the Lakeland Fells. The Marina is located on the Lancaster canal towpath so there are a variety of dog friendly walks and cycle routes in the immediate area. The Longlands Hotel, a traditional country pub is next door to Tewitfield Marina serving real ale and a varied food menu. Across the road is Greenlands Farm Village with its own farm shop selling crafts and local produce. There is also a café where you can relax and sample fresh homemade food.

Tewitfield Marina is a purpose built Marina with self-catering holiday apartments available to hire with a minimum three night stay period. There are four different types of holiday apartments available, all 1 and 3 bedroom apartments have balconies or terraces with views overlooking the Marina. Most of the 2 bedroom apartments have Marina views unless stated. Some of the apartments are dog-friendly too so please enquire on booking.
