A wildlife haven set in ancient woodland in the heart of the Broads. Something to see at all times of the year, visitors will enjoy the early spring delights of camellias, wild primroses and skunk cabbage, whilst Summer is full of our famous Candelabra primula's and Rhododendrons. Autumn is the perfect time to enjoy the rich reds and golden glows reflected in the waterways and lastly Winter is the quiet time of year to spot those shy animals you wouldn't see in busier time. Boat trips run daily from April until the end of October. On these trips you can see the two broads in South Walsham, the beautiful boat houses and an abundance of wildlife that lives there.
We also have a plant sales area that stocks some of the flowers you can see in the garden. The gift shop sells a range of locally produced food and drink and some unusual and seasonal gifts along with a range of greetings cards.
If you are feeling hungry, you can stop for a cream tea or a light lunch in our tearoom. The Plant sales, giftshop and tearoom are all available without going into the garden.
