Rosette, Francis J, Edwardian Lady and the John Constable Lighter operate on the 3-mile stretch of the Suffolk/Essex River Stour between Sudbury, Great Cornard and Great Henny.
From Spring until the end of October (and special Santa cruises in December), our trip boats are available for a range of scheduled trips and private charters operated by our team of fully trained volunteers. On Sundays and Bank Holiday Mondays, our volunteers are delighted to welcome you to The Granary Tea Room. Our lovely riverside location offering simple light lunches, homemade cakes, drinks as well as boat trips.
The River Stour Trust is keen to encourage enjoyment of the river from a young age and we organise a number of family friendly events throughout the year. These include Teddy Bear Boat Rides, Pirates on the Stour, Bat Cruises, Santa Boat Rides and more.
The River Stour Trust is a registered charity (No. 257806) and our activities would not be possible without the efforts of dedicated volunteers. Proceeds from our activities go towards the restoration and conservation of the River Stour Navigation for the benefit of everyone.
