Eden Orchard is situated in idyllic Cygnet, part of the Huon Valley in Southern Tasmania. Once renowned for its apple orchards, now only a handful are left due to the effects of globalised economy and imported apples.
The apple industry is an important part of the Huon Valley history, and is well worth keeping alive. We do this through sharing our orchard experiences with others. Instead of selling just apples, we also make apple products such as dried spiced apples, apple cider and apple vinegar.
We have opened family friendly three and four bedroom farm stay accommodation from which you can discover country life on a working orchard and yet be only 10 minutes away from great local beaches and in the mids of several tourist attractions. It ’s a great place to unwind and relax. Eden and the Farmhouse are set up side by side and are there for also ideal as large group accommodation.
Besides all the wild life on the property we have an abundance of farm animals such as cows, goats, alpacas, pigs, bunnies, turkeys and chooks for children young and old to enjoy.
We give daily feeding tours and have a reception on the property from which you can plan your day, get fishing gear/kites or buy souvenirs – we make our own goat soap, apple cider, apple cider vinegar and dried apples.

All bookings include breakfast provisions to start of your stay, all linen/towels, daily animal feeding sessions and free wifi at our reception. Besides electric heating the Farmhouse also has a wood fire in the living room, all wood is supplied.
Minimum two night stay. There is a 3 night minimum stay over Easter, Christmas and New Years.
Prices include GST. A 10% senior pensioners discount is available, please advise when booking.
